In the National Capital Region, members of CSIS Inc. – NCR Chapter gather regularly to exchange a diverse range of security-focused expertise and experience.  Briefings often relate to the latest advances in training, equipping, supporting, advising or actively safeguarding our fellow citizens.

A typical meeting will normally consist of a cocktail period, a meal, a guest speaker and/or a visit to a security enterprise or site. During this event there will be a number of meeting agenda items, perhaps some voting on local and other issues and the presentation of awards to deserving persons. New members are also recognized. The meeting usually involves an entrance fee that offsets the cost of the event.

Our collective vision is to make CSIS Inc. the security society of choice in our community.   We are working towards this by featuring guest speakers whose presentations will continue to challenge and inspire us to learn more. We will encourage greater participation from existing members, with an additional aim to attract new members from the security industry, police services, all levels of government and students who are about to enter the workforce.

If you would like to attend one of our meetings as a guest or become a CSIS Inc. - NCR Chapter member, please e-mail Laurie Johnson.
